DAHABIYA MA'AT

ذهبية ماعت

Opening February 2027

A spiritual Nile Palace for women who want truth, beauty and silence on the river — ten goddess cabins, one feather for every guest.

Floating gallery

Hospitality, Nutrition & Wellness

Concept visuals for the onboard kitchen and guest experience — plant-based Egyptian fine dining, vegan and vegetarian Nile cuisine, welcome rituals, and turndown with the feather gift. Part of a vegan wellness retreat on a luxury dahabiya cruise.

Private art collection from Victoria Everest’s gallery will occupy dedicated niches in cabins and lounge — placeholders remain for those works (not duplicated here).

Upper-deck guest path

Walk the sun deck

Photoreal guest-point-of-view stills and a cinematic walkthrough based on Victoria’s bow style lock — teak rails, cream Ma'at in the arched niche, brass nameboard, navy rope, white/navy life ring, golden-hour Nile light. Traditional slim two-masted dahabiya. Women on a sacred feminine retreat.

Proposed layouts

Three sun-deck options

Upper / sun-deck proposals for the women's circle retreat and yoga retreat on the Nile. Pick a direction before millwork locks.

Option 1 · Retreat Sanctuary

Practice mats, cushion circle, quiet meditation corner facing the Ma'at niche. No water feature — lowest structural risk. Best fit for women's wellness retreat Egypt sailings and daily yoga.

Preferred for first sailNo pool mass

Option 1 Retreat Sanctuary render Option 1 plan

Option 2 · Dining Under the Stars

Long communal table, brass lanterns, compact bar — evenings for plant-based Nile dining and facilitator talks. Ideal for Facilitator / Circle-Leader Charters.

No pool massCharter-ready

Option 2 Dining Under the Stars render Option 2 plan

Option 3 · Wellness Spa Deck

Plunge / spa tub, treatment cabanas, sound-bath circle, rinse station. Highest guest “wow” — and highest structural question.

WEIGHT EST — marine surveyor check required

Added mass EST ~3.5–4.5 tonnes vs Option 1 (filled plunge). Not cleared until naval architect / yard punch check on deck beams, GM and tug trim. Prefer smaller soaking tub (~800–1,200 kg water) if water feature is mandatory. Granite Ma'at stays on the landing only — never on deck.
Option 3 Wellness Spa Deck render Option 3 plan

The Ma'at story

Truth and balance, afloat

Ma'at is the ancient Egyptian principle of truth, justice and cosmic order — her emblem is the ostrich feather against which the heart was weighed. Dahabiya Ma'at takes that idea as the architecture of a transformational retreat: opulence under order.

Where most spiritual journey Egypt trips rent a nameless boat for a week, Ma'at is a permanent home. Design-led peers own minimalism; we own mythic opulence plus a named spiritual programme — embarkation feather, silent sail, Silsila dinner, goddess cabins, and a facilitator charter teachers can sell into.

Primary mark: Winged Ma'at (Direction 1, chosen). Arabic lockup ذهبية ماعت. Transparent emblem over the cinematic welcome.

The boat

Nile Palace · 10 goddess cabins

Variant A — warm teak, mashrabiya light, antique gold, ivory and indigo. Five queen and five twin zip-link. Ceiling 220 cm. Every cabin named for a goddess, with her own palette, carved bedhead and door plaque. A luxury dahabiya cruise hull — traditional slim two-masted sailing dahabiya, not a motor cruise ship.

Exterior day

White hull at golden hour on the Nile.

Sun deck retreat

Sun deck for dawn practice and sisterhood circles.

Dining lounge

Columned dining lounge — meals as ritual.

Signature rituals

What every sailing holds

Named rituals — the difference between a pretty boat and a healing retreat for women that changes how a week feels.

Feather

Embarkation feather

Every guest receives a feather of Ma'at when she boards — a token of truth she carries through the week.

Heart and feather

Heart & feather closing

On the final night, a journaling rite modelled on the Weighing of the Heart — reflection, not theatre.

Silent sail

Silent sailing hour

A no-talk watch under sail (tug protocol permitting) — the silence large motor ships cannot sell.

Gebel el-Silsila

Floodlit dinner at Gebel el-Silsila

Signature night under the Speos cliffs — candles, lotus, lantern light. The photograph every guest takes home.

Island mooring

Stops big ships skip

El Kab, island and sandbank moorings, long hours at Silsila — shallow draft written into the programme.

Yoga

Yoga & women's circles

Dawn and dusk practice on deck; facilitated women's circle sessions under the mashrabiya canopy.

Ma'at aboard

Hollow bronze preferred onboard (weight). Granite study reserved for the landing only — never as deck ballast.
